According to Training magazine, a leading business publication for Learning and Development professionals, finalists for the annual Training Top 125, which ranks companies’ excellence in employer-sponsored training and development programs both Western Union and Aon Plc have ranked in the Top 125 with final rankings to be revealed at a black-tie awards gala February 15 during the Training 2016 Conference & Expo,February 15-17 in Orlando, FL.

“The 2016 Training Top 125 winners have found the recipe for success,” noted Training magazine Editor-in-Chief Lorri Freifeld. “They utilize innovative methods to deliver training and engage learners; they link training to the achievement of corporate strategic goals; and, most important, they measure the results. We salute these organizations—including 28 newcomers to the list—for their dedication, passion, and commitment to training. Clearly, they understand that Training Matters.”

Training Top 125 recognizes corporate training overall—not just single training programs including:

The human resources thanks to Nelson Cohen’s involvement with the Training Top 125 dates back to its origin 16 years ago when Booz Allen, under Ed Cohen’s leadership first ranked #59, the next year leaping to #6 then moving up the ranks to #4 then #2 and in 2005 achieving the #1 spot.  Then in 2008, under the leadership of Ed Cohen, Pris Nelson and other leaders, Tech Mahindra ranked #15 and then moved up to #8 in 2009.  Since that time Nelson Cohen has helped Farmers Insurance achieve #1, Novo Nordisk achieve #12, and Western Union move from #110 to #55.
